The Ecorkwaste representative explained that the wetland is operating correctly and that the recommended circulation of water has already been found to maximize the absorption of nitrates, pesticides and heavy metals by corks particles with the purpose of improving the quality of treated water. The monitoring of the wetland will be carried out throughout the period of the harvest to ensure its correct operation.
On the other hand, on the gasification plant, it was explained that the plant is almost finished and that it will only be necessary to calculate the appropriate granulometry of the cork for its gasification.
